I first painted this late last year on an 11x14 canvas and sold it right away. Since then, it's gotten more views on my blog than all my paintings combined. So I took that as a sign that it would be a good idea to paint it again. This time on a square 12x12 canvas. It seems that owls and the color purple are trending right now.
It is an original painting done with acrylics and metallic acrylics.
